U2, AC/DC and Beyonce Knowles topped Forbes's list of the world's richest musicians, raking in a combined $333 million in the past 12 months.
U2's 360 Tour pushed the Irish band over the top, bringing the group $130 million from June 2009 to June 2010. AC/DC, also on tour during that time period, netted $115 million, and Beyonce scored $88 million, Forbes said.
Beyonce's husband, rapper Jay-Z, appeared at No. 6 on the list with $63 million. Other top earners were Bruce Springsteen ($70 million), Britney Spears ($64 million), Lady Gaga ($62 million) and Madonna ($58 million).
"It's definitely time to take a break, to recharge my batteries," Beyonce told USA Today. "I'd like to take about six months and not go into the studio. I just need to live life, to be inspired by things again."
