Cheryl Cole is set to return to 'X Factor' this week. Who is recovering at home the Girls Aloud beauty following her hospitalisation from Malaria has reportedly told show bosses she wants to return to filming of the reality show on Friday (30.07.10), By 'Xtra Factor' presenter Konnie Huq where she will be interviewed in her home.
A source told the Daily Star newspaper: "Cheryl loves the show and is desperate to get back to work. She's under doctors' orders to that it easy. But it's a big step that she's back on board."
The 27 year old beauty was forced to take a break from the auditions and the bootcamp stages of the show after falling ill with the tropical disease during a holiday in Tanzania with her pal Derek Hough.
Despite spending a week in intensive care, Cheryl is set to make a return to the elimination stage at the Judges Houses next month.
A friend said: "She has put all her energy into getting better and it's paid off. Simon has told her he can't wait to have her back."
Meanwhile, police were called to the hotel where the 'X Factor' hopefuls are staying after their celebrations at getting through to the bootcamp stage of the show were apparently taken too far.
Bosses on the show have had to pay out for damaged property after contestants destroyed the Premiere Inn hotel in Wembley, North West London.
An 'X Factor' spokesperson told The Sun newspaper: "We have spoken to the individuals concerned, who have apologised for their behaviour."
It has also been reported the groups have changed, with the over 25s category being replaced by the over 28s instead.
